Red magazine names fashion features director-at-large

Red has appointed Alice Olins as fashion features director-at-large. Previously acting fashion features director, Alice will be responsible for writing and commissioning the magazine’s major fashion features. She will report to Oonagh Brennan, acting fashion director.

Alice brings a wealth of fashion knowledge to Red having been a fashion journalist for 15 years. Her career includes a decade at The Times as a fashion writer and she was also fashion features director at Marie Claire and deputy editor of its inaugural Marie Claire Runway magazine. On a freelance basis, Alice has written for many newspapers and glossy magazines including the FT, the Daily Telegraph, the Daily Mail, LivingEtc, Glamour and Marie Claire Australia. She has also co-written her first book Step Up, a career manual for women, which will be published in September.

She takes up her new role on 6th June.
