PORTER announces creative & fashion editorial promotions
PORTER magazine has announced the promotions of Rebecca Mason to
creative director and Gabriele
Hackworthy to global fashion director, PORTER and Global
Editorial Fashion Director, NET-A-PORTER. Both Rebecca and Gabriele will
report to Lucy Yeomans - PORTER’s editor-in-chief and global content director,
NET-A-PORTER.
Rebecca Mason has been
at the creative helm of PORTER, as art director, since the magazine launched in
2014. She is responsible for PORTER’s aesthetic and overall design and has
collaborated with leading fashion photographers including Ryan McGinley, Bruce
Weber, Cass Bird, Nan Goldin and Mikael Jansson. In her new role, Rebecca
will work closely with Lucy Yeomans to further enhance PORTER’s shopping
functionalities, and develop new editorial projects, collaborations and themes
for each issue such as the ‘All-Female Photography’ spring 2016 issue.
With over 20 years’
experience working in fashion publishing, Australian-born, London-based
Gabriele Hackworthy has held the dual role of editorial fashion director of
NET-A-PORTER and fashion director for PORTER since 2014. In her new role
at NET-A-PORTER, she will work even more strategically
with NET-A-PORTER.com across buying, marketing and social media,
developing synergies across content and ecommerce and ensuring PORTER and The
EDIT remain the go-to magazine brands for world-class global fashion inspiration.
