Drapers announces editorial appointment & updates
UK fashion business publication Drapers has announced a number
of editorial upates. Keely Stocker has been promoted to the position
of deputy editor. Since the end of May 2014, Keely has been acting deputy
editor (during Ana Santi’s maternity leave), while still covering the many
responsibilities of online editor and guiding the redevelopment
of Drapers’ site, app etc. Following on from Keely’s new role, James
Knowles has been promoted from features and special reports editor to the
new role of online content editor. He will keep his responsibilities for
special projects and other commercially-related initiatives. Keely has begun to
hand over some of her online responsibilities to James, who will continue to
contribute across other areas of Drapers. Associate editor Kat
Spybey will be picking James’s feature responsibilities, adding to her
wide-ranging senior role across Drapers’ departments and channels. Kat has
taken on some of Keely’s online responsibilities during the past six months and
this will continue as Drapers reorganises its production process to
be digital-first. Features and special reports writer Charlotte Rogers will
report to Kat on features and to James on special projects. Samantha
Warrington has joined Drapers as head of content production,
succeeding Steve Draper, who left at the beginning of July. Samantha will be
responsible for ensuring a high standard of subbing across all channels and her
new title (replacing production editor) reflects the title’s new way of
working.
